Two heating pads protect the patient perioperatively against hypothermia. The water temperature is adjustable within a range of 35 to 39 °C. As a result, there will be fewer wound infections, fewer cardiological complications and less hemorrhaging. Moreover, less time spent in the recovery room ensures a more efficient and economical course of surgery.
